OUR FOUNDER
Sures Muniandy is the CEO & Founder of One Eight Training & Consulting and serves as its Principal Consultant. With decades of corporate and leadership experience in large healthcare organizations, he is deeply committed to helping organizations drive meaningful and sustainable change. His career spans scientific, commercial, and general management roles, giving him a grounded understanding of how strategy, people, and execution come together in real operating environments. He is a trained Biochemist with an MBA and DBA.
Prior to this,
He has served as:
1. CEO at a fertility centre, leading business growth and transformation
2. Head of Business Unit in a multinational healthcare organisation
3. Senior commercial leader managing regional markets across Brunei and Myanmar
4. Marketing & Communications Manager in a private medical centre
5. Pharmaceutical and clinical laboratory executive.
Sures is professionally accredited as an HRDCorp Malaysia Accredited Trainer. He has delivered hundreds of hours of lectures, training, and facilitation across multiple sectors and countries since 2010. His professional experience spans Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, and Myanmar. He is known for his practical and disciplined approach, helping leaders translate intent into action and build sustainable performance.
Beyond his professional work, Sures is an avid explorer with a deep appreciation for challenge and discovery. He has participated in expeditions in the Himalayas and summited Mount Kinabalu. A passionate football enthusiast, he set himself the goal of visiting 50 football stadiums before turning 50, surpassing that target ahead of schedule. His outlook on life is rooted in exploration and growth, embracing the unknown as an opportunity to learn and expand. He enjoys adventure sports, including scuba diving, bungee jumping, and skydiving, reflecting a natural comfort with calculated risk. In quieter moments, he unwinds through movies and music, reads widely on philosophy, self-development, and business, and actively shares his reflections as a writer on LinkedIn.
